How to Prepare

Seek urgent medical attention if there are warning signs of severe dengue, including lethargy, restlessness, rapid drop in platelet count, or fluid accumulation. Patients with a history of prior dengue infection who develop symptoms again should seek early medical evaluation, as secondary infections carry a higher risk of severe disease.
Limitations
- ⚠This is a qualitative screening test and does not quantify antibody levels; follow-up with quantitative ELISA may be needed
- ⚠Cannot differentiate between active and past infection based on IgG alone
