How to Prepare
- Wash hands thoroughly before collection
- Use the sterile screw-capped container provided by the lab

- Seal the container tightly and label with your name and date

Range: EtG < 500 ng/mL and EtS < 150 ng/mL
Low positive. May indicate minimal alcohol intake or incidental exposure to alcohol-containing products (e.g., mouthwash, hand sanitiser). Clinical correlation is recommended.
Range: EtG 500–999 ng/mL or EtS 150–249 ng/mL
Moderate positive. Suggests definite alcohol consumption within the detection window. Review for compliance if the individual is on an abstinence programme.
Range: EtG 1000–4999 ng/mL or EtS 250–999 ng/mL
High positive. Strongly indicative of significant alcohol consumption within the preceding 80 hours. Immediate clinical review and intervention may be warranted.
Range: EtG ≥ 5000 ng/mL or EtS ≥ 1000 ng/mL
