Method: Blood draw
Laboratory Analysis
Blood is drawn into a prechilled lavender top (EDTA) tube. The tube must be mixed by gentle inversion to ensure anticoagulant activity.
Report Delivery
Apply pressure on the puncture site. The plasma must be separated and frozen immediately. Transport the sample in a frozen condition; do not thaw.

How to Prepare
- Take the Test Send Out Consent Form (Form 35) to the collection center.
- Blood is collected in a prechilled lavender top EDTA tube.
- Mix the tube gently by inversion immediately after collection.
- Separate plasma as soon as possible and transfer to a labelled frozen tube.
- Store and ship the sample frozen on dry ice.
