Sample Collection
Patient should strictly avoid Theophylline-containing medications, chocolate, vanilla, banana, alcoholic beverages, tea/coffee, tobacco and strenuous exercise at least 72 hours before and during specimen collection.

Laboratory Analysis
Collect a random urine sample in the provided sterile container. Add 50% HCl drop by drop to bring the pH to 1-2. Do not use concentrated HCl.
