Understanding Your Results
Indicates anemia, may suggest ACD if iron stores are adequate.
Suggests adequate or increased iron stores, common in ACD.
May indicate impaired iron utilization in ACD.
Can indicate iron deficiency or increased erythropoiesis.
Signifies inflammation, supporting diagnosis of ACD.
Helps differentiate ACD from iron deficiency anemia.
Consult a doctor if you experience persistent symptoms of anemia such as fatigue, weakness, or shortness of breath, especially if you have a chronic medical condition or infection. Abnormal test results should be discussed with a healthcare provider for further evaluation.
