  • Bone Marrow: 2 mL in Green Top tube, ship refrigerated
  • Body Fluids: Submit in sterile screw capped container, ship refrigerated
  • Tissue: Submit in sterile normal saline, ship refrigerated
  • Swabs: Submit in 1 mL sterile normal saline, ship refrigerated
  • Sputum/Urine: Submit 2 morning samples, ship refrigerated
  • Skin: Submit 2-3 mm scrapings or between sterile slides, ship refrigerated
  • Hair: Submit plucked infected hairs including root, ship refrigerated
  • Nail: Submit clippings from affected area, ship refrigerated
