Sample Collection
No fasting is required. Bring doctor's prescription on letterhead with 1 photograph each of recipient and donor duly stamped, and signed Form 33 consent.

Standard venipuncture is performed to collect whole blood in EDTA or ACD tube.

To determine HLA-A, B and DR low-resolution typing compatibility between donor and recipient before kidney or liver transplantation.
How to Prepare
- Doctor's prescription on letterhead with 1 photograph each of recipient and donor duly stamped is mandatory.
- Consent form for HLA Typing for Solid organ transplant (Form 33) is mandatory.
- Collect 4 mL (3 mL min.) whole blood in Lavender Top (EDTA) tube OR 6 mL (3 mL min.) whole blood in Yellow Top (ACD) tube.
- Ship refrigerated. DO NOT FREEZE.
