Sample Collection
Complete the OncoPro CRC Screen - Clinical Information Form (Form 29) prior to sample collection. No fasting is required. Inform your healthcare provider about any medications, recent procedures, or existing medical conditions. Ensure the sample collection kit with preservative is available.
Method: Venipuncture
Laboratory Analysis
A standard venipuncture will be performed to collect 10 mL of whole blood into the provided Lavender Top (EDTA) tube. The preservative supplied in the kit must be added to the EDTA tube immediately using a syringe and needle as per the kit instructions.
Report Delivery
Ship the sample immediately at 18-22°C. Do NOT refrigerate or freeze the sample. Ensure the properly sealed sample and completed Form 29 are dispatched together to the laboratory without delay.

How to Prepare
- Use only the sample collection kit provided by LPL/DNA Labs India
- Collect 10 mL (minimum 8 mL) of whole blood in the Lavender Top (EDTA) tube
- Immediately add the preservative from the kit into the EDTA tube using the supplied syringe and needle
- Gently mix the tube by inversion 8-10 times
- Ship the sample immediately at 18-22°C ambient temperature
- DO NOT refrigerate or freeze the sample at any point
- Duly filled OncoPro CRC Screen - Clinical Information Form (Form 29) must accompany the sample
- Ensure sample reaches the laboratory within the stability window

CTCs Not Detected (Negative)

Elevated CTC Count
