How to Prepare

  • Collect 4 mL serum from 1 SST tube and ship refrigerated or frozen.
  • Collect 1 mL whole blood each in a set of QuantiFERON TB Gold tubes, shake vigorously 10 times, do not centrifuge, ship at room temperature within 16 hours.
  • Alternatively, collect 4 mL whole blood from 1 Green top (Sodium/Lithium heparin) tube, ship refrigerated, do not freeze.
