Sample Collection
No fasting is required. The sample should be collected between 8-10 am or 4-6 pm. Do not stop steroid medications without your doctor's advice.
Method: Venipuncture
Laboratory Analysis
A trained phlebotomist will collect 2 mL of blood from a vein in your arm using a red top no-additive tube.
Report Delivery
You can resume normal activities. Pressure may be applied to the puncture site for a few minutes to prevent bruising.
